C55 is Medium Carbon cold rolled steel strip l, these types of strips provide very high yield strength. Enables objects made of this to return to their original shape despite significant bending or twisting after hardening and tempering. Its in soft annealed condition but can also be supplied in temper rolled hardness in range between 200-300Hv ( band range is +/-40 Hv ) C55 is used where exhaustive values and elasticity limits are non critical and not a consideration, applications in which high strength, hardness and wear resistance are important. It has good form , decent blanking and bending qualities.

• Elongation 30% Minimum

• Surface bright and free from any detrimental surface defect

C-62 The medium carbon steels are similar to low carbon steel except that the carbon to 0.60% and the manganese from 0.50 to 1.65%. Increasing it to approximately 0.5% with an accompanying increase in manganese allows steel to be used in the quenched & tempered conditions.

C-98 spring steel has an average carbon content of 0.95%. its supplied in coils and can physically cut out to meet your requirements. It commonly supplied with a polished surface finish; which is in turnachieved by fine grinding, abrasive brushing and related processes. C-98 strip is supplied with dressed edges which is actually sheared to required width as per client specifications. For spring applications C-98 can be used in hardened/tempered condition. Furthermore we supply same in annealed spring steel form.

This is a High Carbon cold rolled steel strip, with Spherodized grain structure, this steel is with a very high yield strength. This allows objects made of this steel to return to their original shape despite significant bending or twisting after hardening and tempering. Usually in soft annealed condition but can also be supplied in temper rolled hardness in range between 200-350 Hv (band range is+/- 40 Hv) These grade of steel is used where fatigue value and elastic limits are critical it is also used where high strength, hardness and wear resistant is needed. These steel has good forming and blanking properties but very poor drawing property.
